Hi, I'm Chris. I'm 15 and I live in northwest Arkasnas. I also have aspergers and I'm homeschooled (not for religious reasons, I'm agnostic).

I am just now starting working with web design although I've been interested in it for a while. This site looks like a really useful, friendly, mature place for learning. I've been lurking for about two weeks now so I thought I'd formally say hi.

Glad to know you enjoy all our jibberish, and somehow I think your Asperger's might actually help you out in this type of work (no joke :) because to be really good at building sites or designing them yourself you have to know quite a bit about a bunch of different things, and even 'simple' web design isn't like print where you put a picture on the page, because to be effective you have to know how to lay it out what size graphics work best for speed and loading while still having the quality you need for a particular situation, whether to use an inline image or css background and a bunch of other things... The list gets even bigger if you move into HTML and the coding of a site too.

Remember Sprites & CSS...
Sprites and CSS are your friends when you're designing.

LOL... Don't let us fool you we all love a good argument, but as long as you don't forget we're always right even when we're wrong you should do fine and have lots of friends here... (Kidding - LOL)
