I am tired of all these emails, please unsubscribe me from this thread [webmasterworld.com] I made a mistake of subscribing to this thread and now I can't unsubscribe, How pathetic is that. Webmasterworld should allow us to unsubscribe from any thread we want.

I know how frustrating this can be from personal experience. I'm hoping someone has some advice to offer you - in the meantime, I've tried to unsubscribe you from that thread using what "special powers" I have as an Admin.

What usually needs to happen is an edit to every post you made in that thread to remove the checkmark that says "Do you want an email notification of new replies". But your personal access window for editing your own post usually goes by before you feel the problem of a lively thread in your inbox.

I also would like learn of an easier way to unsubscribe from hyperactive threads. It may take a software modification, or there may already be something in place that I'm not aware of.

Per the email msg - you simply click "owner edit" on the message and uncheck the box that says "email updates". Time is not an issue.
