Next: elimination of the <font> tags!
HAHAHA! It's only 2010, give Brett another 5 years before that is a consideration. Same goes for that <center> element. Not to mention all the other deprecated markup. ;)
I do like the blue better. That would be considered a MAJOR change around here. That must have taken a highly skilled team of developers too.

P.S. I've always thought of WebmasterWorld as the Model T of fora.
Ever hear that saying, People who live in glass houses, shouldn't be caught throwing stones? eg: we've been to your site dude.
What did you find? Ever see markup that clean and well formatted? :)
Stones? Oh come on, I'm just chucking pebbles now.
I'm looking forward to the changes that may be taking place. You know, you could jump right over to an HTML5 DOCTYPE and start the transition. You'll have a bit of leeway using HTML5. It's almost like using HTML 4.01 Transitional with some extras. There are still some things that are deprecated though.
an eye sore that validates still leaves you with a sore eye.
Ah, hitting below the belt eh? Aren't you the one who endorses the Ugly Sites Work concept? Oh come on, it isn't that bad. I'll agree, I'm long overdue. It's like one of those Hot Rods you see that has a halfway decent coat of primer on it. One look at the engine/drivetrain and you know where the time and money have been spent. I have some other eye sores too. :)
And the new tiny text "in forum" and "started by" is really really hard to read ..( wait till you hit 50 and have to read the newspaper at arms length ..even with spectacles ..and you'll know what I mean :)) ..tiny text seems to "swim" in and out of focus ....and I'm only on my first glass of the evening ..
And yes I know that someone who uses grey text on black background has little room to talk :)..but it is my oldest site ..and my visitors there only look at the pictures ..and grey on black hides my hideously spammy text :)..and from their emails most of my visitors there don't seem to be "literary" anyway ..
