I just updated my email because I deleted the one I registered originally with. Do I need to confirm a change or do I just go about my business?
Just asking in case my blacklist filters pick this site out as spam.

Just make sure it's in your e-mail client whitelist. You can try a test by selecting the option when you post a message to "Do you want an email notification of replies?" If you get a notification, it should all be working fine.
