Why do WebmasterWorld forums sometimes disappear?

As I query this the Javascript forum is completely empty. It will probably be back at some point, but I've seen this off and on over the years in different forums here. I always assumed it was some sort of maintenance or something, but thought I'd give it an ask. So Mr. Tabke, why does the forum content disappear sometimes?

Just revived it. Any time this happens you can sticky a mod for the affected forum or any admin and they'll be able to sort it out. :)

So it's not a maintenance issue and requires reporting, got it. Will do.

Usually means the forum index needs rebuilding. As whoisgregg mentioned, just sticky one of the mods.
