I made some significant changes in the order that a page is generated to cut down on memory usage and processor time.

See any differences? Or any errors?

When the system gets a bit slow now, you should see the top portion of the page printed and then a slight pause and finaly the bottom have should just zoom out the door. It may look a bit start/stop'ish at times, but it will be faster and should cut down on forced reloads.

I do not know if it is because I enjoy WmW at night but everything seem a bit faster with a "slow" processor on 56k dialup here. I tried both small and large pages with page cache off and I can feel some noticable improvement.

When I use a faster machine with a cable connection, I can not feel anything different. I guess time will tell.

Thanks for the improvement. Can we have a rough idea of what you did to achieve this?

I separate that top portion of the page from the bottom. That top part is really the only part that has to be "custom generated" with the stickymail notice, user name, and user options based on login or not.
