The Search Function

I'm a big fan of searching for the posts of particular people.... namely myself.

Amidst all the clutter I can never remember where I post.

How bout you add a search for user?

How bout and empty threat... like if you don't make this forum dummy proof, who the hell is gonna come here and ask questions?

I just happen to be a dummy.... and if I can't search with the greatest of ease then I'm gonna have to take my stupid questions and peers with split personalities with me....

(greatest of ease = under the influence (8 beers or more), with a concusion (mild at least), and two girls from Amsterdam sitting on my lap blocking the line of site from my good eye to the computer screen)

SJ, Brett's posted (just today or yesterday) some paragraph on what his plans for the search function are, search the forums on.... -nevermind- (heh, heh, heh)

I need to be able to search for posts all the time too. The default search feature on the board was less than poor. I have started to rewrite it completely.

The first step is done. It will search all titles, descriptions and primary poster id.
It will not search full text or reply posters ID just yet. Working on it on/off this week.
