Why Doesn't WebmasterWorld put on Adsense or something of the sort ? I mean that could provide some more cash for the running of this big system. The ads on top right currently are paid ads ?
It's not that the topic of advertising hasn't come up. It was even tried for a bit as an April Fools activity. But along with advertising comes other attached strings, an appearance of business affiliations etc.
Speaking for myself here, I prefer the independence our current set-up gives us and hope we can continue to be community supported.

I see. Was just wondering that with so many pageviews each day you might try to generate some extra cash for running of webMasterWorld, the more the better.

Still remember when the current ads were not there either. What a big commotion arouse when announced that it may be introduced.
