Dell's buyer satisfied with Vista on DemsionB1100

Saw other Dell Customer's reaction with Vista OS

I happened to find this Website forum on the web and it concerned other Dell owners who had downloaded the VISTA or it came with their new pc/laptops.

Mine Dell Demsion B1100 came with XP so after having it for 3 years, I asked can I put my Maxtor hardrive in, which I had from a previous Dell becasue it broke down and I had saved this Maxtor 200gybts/7200 series before it was really used.

The requirements wanted you to have a dual core processor etc. Dell on-call suggested other hardware parts along with this Maxtor Hardrive My Dell Demsion B1100 now has Windows VISTA HOME BASIC. I put in with Dells help over the phone on-call all the hardware and VISTA. I also have 2 external hardrives attached. I do light typing, web searching, and emails from others. I also am learning to use my Dell Demsion for learning music lessions via a mid cable. Not all Software and music programs fit the VISTA OS SYSTEM, I have software like Click ART, Corel as far back as 1997 till now and not all that is usuable .

Dear Hawkgirl, I wrote about obtaining a new Video card which wasn't good on my Dell Demsion B1100 VISTA and had to return it to Dell. So I obtained a Radeon which will aide my VISTA OS on my Dell Demsion B1100. I found others in a Vista OS 3rd issue Magazine who also had the same problem and advised to read this magazine to understand the Operating system while at their pc. I will put it in a quiet Saturday when no one is using the phone and my sister is not around to go to the store to get her lotto tickets for a walk.
