Look at the joined date on the left. Two years ago to the day we put up the original forum over on Search Engine World.

I probably should say something profoundly philosophical now, but I think I'll just enjoy a rare smug smile and say thank you to the members instead ;-)

Thank you.

Let me be the first to congratulate you Brett for putting together the PREMIER resource for discussing SEO and related issues.

And also congratulate the Moderators and Members alike for banding together to make WebmasterWorld what it is today.

The level of knowledge and discussion here is second to none, and the comeraderie (spelling?) in sharing that knowlege and helping others is a shining example as to what the internet is all about.

Thank you Brett and all moderators for making WebmasterWorld what it is.

Thanks to all members for sharing your knowledge, views and jokes...

I have been learning so much in here and it is the best school I ever had.

Now my WebmasterWorld valve is clogged, where are my WebmasterWorld head braces? [webmasterworld.com]

Thanks to all!

Ditto. In the US, we have a catch-all phrase: continuing education. WebmasterWorld is continuous education.

Happy Anniversary WMW, Brett, Admin, Moderators and to the members, the only serious place to come and get the best that the net has to offer.

ditto to everyone else's comments, look i learned a new word from WMW, see more than just forums of net concerns. a dialectical collective of ditto's and brillance.

Wow! Congratulations Brett and everyone else that's made this place what it is today. I remember when I first came here I could count the active posters on my fingers and my toes. We've come so far in such a short amount of time its hard to even imagine were this forum will be two years from now.

Congratulations to you, Brett, the moderators and the members for making Webmaster World a one stop wonder. The sense of community and respect felt here is no accident, a rare situation in forums. It reflects the quality Brett strives for and has been able to achieve. Thank you for the best and brightest spot on the Web.

"Do you remember who they are?"

I hate to even try because I know I'm going to forget a number of people.... the ones that stick out in my mind the most are:

Oilman, Littleman, NFFC, Air, Stcrim, Engine, DaveAtIFG, OldTimer, Fantomaster, and Brett

Then within a few months we had bunch more of our current mods join like: rcjordan, jamesR, renke, scott

then it all becomes a blur :)

Cheers all!

Brett, your 'baby' has grown strong and healthy! May it continue to do so in the future.

Hey, Oil, if Brett is 'the father of WebmasterWorld, does this mean we can refer to him as the 'the old man'?

wow, Brett. That was some piece of info. I'll have to digest that one for a bit...

I would like to say thanks. I'm on my 3rd full time gig since I started reading here and participating, in the same field, and getting better at it all the time, thanks to the members most, Brett for putting this place together, and the other mods who are kind enough to put up with a fellow who can't spel right half the time.

This place rocks.

>Oldest Moderator: 64(?)

Whooohooooooo, sneakieeee!!!

littleman must have put you up to this! He has been diligently trying to find out how old I am, and I will_not_tell. If either of you shows up at the Bar Conference [webmasterworld.com] in February, I will show my CA drivers license and prove that I am not 64+!

I arrived here just about a year ago (anniversary coming soon, on the 28th), and it's awesome to see the changes and growth that's taken place.
