Why no "visited" link colors on WebmasterWorld?

Just wondering, it would make the board a lot easier to use to have a different color for the threads you've already viewed.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, super70s.

My browser displays links I have viewed in a different color. For threads you have recently viewed, keep an eye on the red ball to the left of messages indicating a new post (that you haven't viewed since the last time it was posted).

I use Firefox 1.5.0.11 for Mac which I realize isn't the "latest & greatest" but it should easily be able to recognize visited links if the code for that is set properly (it does it in similar forums I visit).

I do get the "red ball" for new messages but that's pretty useless unless one follows every single thread -- I'm interested in being reminded of which threads I've visited, and during the same session.
