Hello Webmasters and friends,
I have a small doubt or you can say a little confusion in my mind.. I have seen many times this thing in webmaster world forum and i always wanted to ask but never got time :) so.. my confusion is.. whenever i post a link in the forum.. it always has a redirect from searchengineworld.com even if the link is linking to webmasterworld.com still it has to go through the redirection process..

why that redirection is being done? is there any specific reason for that? and when i visited searchengineworld.com there is nothing on the site.. just an apache test page. and on google they have just 223 links.. so why this redirection is used? what is the main purpose?

Please i have this small doubt.. hope real webmasters are going to answer me.. i am very curious to know this... :D

Regards,
Ajay

Saw your query. Would've replied, but I'm afraid I only have half an answer, which is probably worse than no answer at all. :)

...It has been my experience with hackers/bot runners - that the ones that ask about an issue, are often the ones that created the issue in the first place.
