I spent the afternoon as I do most sunday afternoons, just doing what I want on the web. Catching up on things, pop'ing in and out of places - just general care free mischief. It is my one get away from it all day (he says as he watches four log files get diced in the background, 2 ftp clients running, email checker going off, and making a post ... that's a strange idea of getting away from it all eh).

Anyway, I was just wandering in and out of some posts, and I just need to say thank you to the users of this board. I've been more than satisfied with the early progress. The quality of some of the better posts is just outstanding.

This system is here for you. If there is anything you would like to see different on the board, please let us know here and it will get serious consideration by me or by the users. In breaking with net tradition, I am going to defer many decisions straight to the users.

I think part of the success of the forums is that the users answer the posts. On top of that, Brett himself actually pops his head in more than twice a month. Its actually pretty nice to get a straight answwer from more than one person on a slightly less than daily basis.

To be honest, I have honed my SEO skills more since I have joined this forum and I attribute that to nice helpful people and my introduction of a stress ball to the list of thingies on my desk.

I'm definitely in agreement with Oilman about the weaning. It seems that there are more specific answsers to the issues here than can be found anyplace else. Thanks to one and all!

No, that one you linked is a good thread. I was spoofing, those spider threads crack me up when you guys get swapping boatloads of digits. I always wonder what a newbie must think when he stumbles into that forum --looks like "Cracker's Paradise."
