Auto Notification

Is there a malfunction, or is it me?

I have a valid email address, and I have Auto Notification turned on.

I've elected to use it in a couple of recent threads, but have not had any notification of the replies that have appeared.

Any ideas? I did search for previous discussions, found one that said Auto Notification was 'flaky' - but no open discussions.
