Adsense Serving on WebmasterWorld.com

I just noticed Adsense being served on webmasterWorld.com forum. Is there a thread about this decision?

Personaly, The ads don't bother me, I am happy to see Brett monetizing the site.

Surprised to see the ads. I don't like so many. I'd rather see only the ads on the right, not on the top too which makes you scroll down to see more content.

They need to be blended better, using the default color styles. Heck, is there a way to grab what colors a member has set and use that to pull a matching AdSense unit?

Certainly inspires some of the new forum members for really cool questions, like "I just saw that ad that says '$100,000/month guaranteed' - now how do I make it? I don't have a website, I can't write, but I want to have that money. This must be the right place to ask that question."

I hope it's not an AFJ like Google's free broadband. I don't see why BT shouldn't be compensated. Would you do a similar site for free? He's paid his dues in spades. In any case, since we don't get graphics, it's nice to see some color on this site! :/

Tacky, tacky tacky. Especially as most of the ads I'm seeing are those that are selling information on how to game / defraud adsense.

Really bad example of how to implement Google ads, and smacks of desperation. Subscriptions dropping through the floor or something?

Brett never knew how to add adsense code on www.webmasterworld.com .
Yesterday he called me and i explained him that how he can put adsense code on a website and today i seee ads by google on webmasterworld.

Brett you are fast learner :P you could have called me earlier to discuss this issue.
