Forum Moderators: open
I am bit of a newbie round here, so please bear with me.
Can you please explain the Yahoo forums section aka Yahoo World, leaving aside Yahoo Search and the old altavisa etc forum leaves 2 forums:
Yahoo Publisher Advertising Network (adsense stylee)
Yahoo Search Marketing (Overture/YSM, PPC stylee)
In which case can someone explain to me if WebmasterWorld can make up their mind which forum should be used for discussion by advertisers of the new panama system
as it seems to me that there is some confusion, or maybe I am confused as I am seeing simultaneous Panama conversations in both forums, when the 2 (imo) have very different target audiences and noise levels.
I'd appreciate if you could look into this matter for me, pretty please with sugar on top.
Thanks again, and now I am gonna run along, and ask why You charge money for the subscription forum, why my site got banned, is GoogleGuy really from Google, and why the last couple of Pubcons were not held in a Pub.

ya, it takes 5k posts to get out of the new user category. (grin)

Google has Adwords, Adsense, and google search. Yahoo, has Yahoo Search Marketing, Yahoo Publisher Network, and Yahoo Search. Same break down of topics for both Yahoo and Google.
As an ex senior moderator, you know how hard it is to keep the dupe topics for popping up. That, and I think everyone themselves is a bit confused as to what Yahoo is trying to do with the different names.
Forum topic break down:
Yahoo Search - deals with search engine topics.
Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) - deals with the contextual advertising and advertising network.
Yahoo Search Marketing - deals with the ppc/overture advertising issues.
So there really aren't any dupe topics. The panama q's in the YPN forum are about Panamas affect on the contextual product.
