Have I been so accustomed to feeling "at home" in the familiar surroundings at WebmasterWorld for so long that navigating the main forum index page has become so automatic that I hardly think about it or even take notice? It's looking different today!

[webmasterworld.com...]

I'm tend to resist change and feel more comfortable when things stay the same - like wearing comfortable old house slippers. But this looks NICE!

When did it happen? Is it new today, for the start of the New Year?

Looks the same to me too. Did you perhaps over indulge a wee bit over the festive season Marcia. :)

When did what happen? Maybe Marcia received a new pc or monitor for Christmas and that made all the difference ;)

Must be a a change to the skin / template Marcia is using. I don't see anything different.

There is a link just below the navigation line on that page titled: "Turn on descriptions".

Click that Marcia and descriptions come back.

Brett - How much bandwidth does it save you to leave them off?

Some over time Robert. Its a couple of k per page view.

It is mainly there for the regulars to save some time. There are alot of regulars who use that for their home page. It isn't uncommon for some moderators to view that page 300-500 times a day.
