Subscribe topics

bookmarking my favorite topics

Hello,
I would like to know how to subscribe or bookmark my favorite topics in control panel.
There is a feature available named My Threads but this only bookmarks posts which I have replied too.

Other forum software scripts have a wonderful feature to subscribe to favorite topics where I can create categories/folders and organise my list of favorites.

Kindly consider implementing this feature if not available at present.

Have you tried "flagging it"? The link is at the bottom of each thread. It then shows up in the "my flags" section in your control panel :)

I'd vote for something like this too. The current flagging function here, it appears, has a limitation in that if you add too many flags, you put extra load on your use of the forums... and that, in my experience anyway, ultimately resulted in page loading problems.

I'm not sure there's an easy way around this if the flags are to be kept on "active" status (ie, monitoring whether there have been additions to the threads. It's something to be addressed, I feel, if there is a fix.

I like the idea of organizing the favorites... better yet if there's an export function as well.
