"sticky mail" link in threads

can this link open in new window?

When reading threads here you can easily send a sticky to any poster. Just click the 'sticky mail' link.

I vote for making this link open in new window just like User profile link works.

Usually, when I want to write to someone I put a link to the thread they contributed to in order to make sure the recipient does understand what i want from them.

Of course, I often forget to hit the wheel button when clicking on that link and end up in a situation when i have to copy my mail to clipboard, hit back button, click sticky mail wit wheel button, paste my mail and then copy&paste the link to the thread.

don't you all end up the same?

I just ctrl click on the stickymail link in moz and it opens in a new tab

right, but you need to remember it.

why user profile opens in new tab and sticky mail does not?

i understand it is a minor detail but i believe these minor details done properly make life better.
