like everyone else, am immenseley grateful to all the mods and folks that make this such a great resource. :0)

i find feedback/suggestions for my own sites very helpful, so i thought i'd offer some of my own:

1.) a section on the home page (or somewhere) that lists most active threads in the past 24-28 hours (e.g., measured by participation)

2.) a library/history of most relevant/popular threads in each subcategory (current library function isn't so helpful to me). and perhaps if a mod summarized a few of the best threads in each category, into several short articles (a lot of work, i know, but would be immenseley helpful; something i'd definitely pay for as well).

3.) i myself don't visit more than 4-5 subcats regularly. and it seems like some subcats dont get too many posts (e.g., Froogle). if i had a question about froogle, i'd be more tempted to post it in the webmaster general category to get it more visibility; i think participation and page views would go up if some of the subcats were eliminated. just a thought.

4.) the recent drop of site search hurts =/

glad to read that traffic hasn't gone down much (if at all) post the robots.txt file. myself, i thought i did see some slowdown in posting, but i guess this is just my psychology at work (was expecting that to happen).

Active List* By Last Post [webmasterworld.com] By quantity of posts [webmasterworld.com]

*250 threads active in the last 24 hours (list is trimmed nightly to the last 300 threads)
