Bug with BB code

I posted a thread elsewhere with a broken end tag, which seemed to break the page layout. The code was

Breaking the page layout is easy ..and most of the time I edit whatever it was I did and hope nobody was looking ..:)

style codes are ( almost) made to be abused ..;)

keeps the mods on their toes :)

We love bug reports. If you think you've really found something, the best way to report it is with the bug report link [webmasterworld.com].

Programming or feature suggestions that aren't bug related can be posted in this forum.

this is an old bug, I've seen it for years, if you leave off or corrupt the closing [ /quote] for bb code, it destroys the page layout below it. It's funny, but goes away once somebody posts another post after the last post.

I can't reproduce it now, the old one is either fixed, or there's a new way to trigger it, can't remember exactly how to do it.
