New Username?

I've read the charter, TOS, and help pages...

I understand that it is not possible to change my existing username, except under extreme circumstances. I don't see any mention of whether it is allowable for me to stop using my current username, and sign up under a new username, but I would very much like to do one of these two things, as I have some new privacy concerns that did not exist when I first signed up at Webmasterworld last May.

Yes, absolutely you are free to abandon your old username and sign up with a new one. You'll lose your postcount but that's about it. You can drop a note in this forum and let us know your new username (if you want).
