Email notifications of replies aren't working again! GAH! How can I help others if I'm not made aware that they have replied? :(

Please relax about stuff that is not working properly at the moment. Don't forget that we were down for several days and Brett is working hard pretty much day and night to make sure everything is up and running properly. He migrated to a different hosting company and had to rebuild some stuff that got a little goofy after the move.

Please have some patience, and if you see a problem, either post it here (as you did) or submit a bug report [webmasterworld.com], which goes straight to the queue to get evaluated.

all email notifications are working ok here in all tests. Check your spam filters - if that isn't it, then ask your isp to check theirs.

I haven't had any email notifications since the move either. Plus I don't have any email spam filters, locally or on server.

The other change for me, is no icon to allow editing of a message after it has been posted to a forum.

Maybe clear your cookies then go back and get new ones? That might help....

Perhaps they are only working for new requests.

You can only edit msgs for about 10 minutes afterwards.

Other page says one hour... I have been caught out a few times as unable to edit... any chance to make it 15 minutes?

Remembered this thread, hehe...

I use my own mail system (and filters and such) and I don't recieve squat for junk. Your site's notifications NEVER found their way in to the junk folder to boot. Umm, the point of course is that I am not getting ANY notifications whatsoever and I ALWAYS set my preferences to recieve notifications.

Stickies and replies aren't getting me email notifications so until whatever the issue, until it's resolved I have been doing my best to reply to threads in which I jump in to help others or check the ones I have personally started.

There is a "my threads" option in "control panel" that shows recent threads you have participated in:
[webmasterworld.com...] if that helps at all.

It is like spam - if you say it - they know it ;-)
