I just have a couple small ideas for improvements to the bulletin system here if I may. :)

The

Do you want an email notification of replies?

should be checked on your second viewing if you checked it on your first. If you uncheck it then the system should stop sending you notifications.

It would also be nice if messages about replies to a thread were halted after one is sent until one viewed the thread, and then it would repeat where if five replies were made you'd recieve one notification until you viewed the thread.

Just some ideas float: in my head. :)
