I just wanted to take a moment to thank ya'll for the tons of information available here. I've been a long time reader and occasional poster.

As I was reading today I ran across a post summarizing some other posts on copyright information. I've had a small project on hold for a couple of years now because I wasn't able to determine its copyright status (the company ceased to exist, etc.). Thanks to the information in the posts and less than an hour of research I've found that I can do the project :-)

Thanks again!

However, the only plausible course of action on copyright issues, is to see a lawyer. Even a simple 30 minute consultation can answer the majority of your questions and should only cost a couple hundred dollars.
