Please guys.... you have to provide an easy and automated means for posters to unsubscribe from threads.

control panel, sticky mail preferences, autonotification off should do it if you don't want to receive emails notifying you of thread additions.

you can only subscribe to a thread you have replied in

you can only remove this while a post is editable, otherwise you must contact a mod or admin

you can go to control panel and have a forum watch, this gives you a notification for every new thread in the forum

you can add or remove watches at will in the control panel

sounds like the best option, but i still don't see an "unsubscribe" function?

it is the top checkbox under the post area, it says

"Do you want an email notification of replies?"

uncheck that one and submit

by the way I edited the thread that brought this topic up, if you have any more problems you can sticky me.

I (and based on all the posts, others) would really like to have the ability to unsubscribe via a link in the email notifications.

Are you sure this can't be done? I use two other forums that use this method.
