Spammed

What to do about it.

Not sure if this is a new occurance or if everyone knows about it, but I just got spammed via Stickymail.

This doesn't happen often here at WebmasterWorld, but if/when this ever happens to you, please send a sticky immediately to a mod or admin so we can turn the offender's stickymail OFF.

I see some have mentioned parasites sending Spam via SM, but FYI I got one of those @$%&@! African 419 scams from some criminal scum-bag. I tried to reply with some choice words but I couldn't, the SM said he wasn't a member. The ***hole's email address shows up in G as a scammer as well as his name or "alias" I should say.

Most of the people at this site seem fairly knowledgeable. That's the kind of scam that only works on rank newbies. I guess he must be desperate.
