trouble loggin in

I got logged out due to a browser update and can't log back in. The login page just refreshes after giving my name and password.

The only way to get in is to register a new account.

What gives?

I've noticed something similar when using Opera. The way I work around it is so click on the login link at the top of the page so that you end up on this URL:

[webmasterworld.com...]

The behaviour you describe happens when the system tries to log you in on the forum level, like this:

[webmasterworld.com...]

Then it looks like you're stuck in a loop, and no matter how many times you enter your info you'll get another login page at the same URL.

Thanks for replying bill, i've tried it both ways and still no joy. Oh well, chalk it up to bad scripting.
