Downside of course is that because of the, er, restrictive laws here in the U.S. I won't be able to enjoy the PubConf festivities, unless it's like a restuarant or if I sneak in in the back.
While I can be the president and CEO of a company with 7 full time employees, join the army, buy a deadly weapon, I can't have a beer.
I'll be 21 in about a month from now, but not in time for the conference, so I was wondering if there are any other under 21 webmasters going to the conference - we can have a puritanical law refugee table, the "We-can't-get-into-a-Pub-Conf, Conf"

Ever hear the saying "Two wrongs don't make a beer drinker"? ;)
Don't worry. If it's not already fun without beer chances are it's not fun in the first place. It will be fun with or without beer. Quite an interesting and varied crowd.

So, leave the helmet and pick-axe home.
Yea, I founded it when I was 12, I've been lurking here for probably 5 years, and I've learned almost everything I know from this, the greatest site on the web.
u4eas, SEOMike, gopi and everyone else I def want to meet up, trade ideas and have a good time. We might be celebrating an explosion in traffic for our sites, once of these Sunday's the sites and I are going to be profiled on an incredinly popular (most popular Network Broadcast TV show in I believe it's timeslot) each Sunday morning... If it's aired by then I'll have to treat everyone.
Who else on here is young, maybe still in college?

Maybe Google will take some of my sites out of the sandbox as a 21st birthday present... cause you know, our sites just SCREAM spam, with their 6,000 word reviews, and being Froogle and Google News Sources... [sorry, I'll stop ranting]
He's so excited about me going to New Orleans and would love to come along. He asked if I could get autographs for him from the Google Guys, LOL. I didn't even consider bringing him, too young. Maybe one day though, he'll be the youngest conference member.

22 here, just got out of college :) This will be my first conference.
I have 7 employees too, but none of them are fulltime (more like 5 hours per week). Kudos to you though, that is something to be proud of.

Webwork: if it's fun without drinking, its prolly more fun WITH drinking. It is called "pubcon" for a reason right? ;)
p.p.s. my friend tells me a 17 year old can drink in nawleans without getting carded, apparently they are a bit lax about that sort of thing in Louisiana (weren't they the last state to raise the drinking age to 21? I think they only did it because the fed. government wouldnt give them money unless they did, and their roads were full of potholes so louisiana finally gave in... the same friend told me the roads have never recovered)
I've never really looked in to what the conference is or when and where it's held. Does it change locations? I'd love to meet some of the folks here.
