I have seen many posts on here bemoaning to fact that they don't know if the behind closed doors area is worth the price of admission. I would find it very interesting if they would just open the door a crack for a few days. Surely the management could disable posting for those members that haven't paid, but they could still be able to look around, see what happens there for a couple days. Webmasterworld would be able to plan ahead for a large increase in traffic (good numbers to show potential partners) and possibly increase subscriber rate due to the lifting of the veil.

What could be wrong with that?

It is about supporting the site. As with any champagne, you can't recork it and have it be the same. If you are in doubt, it is not for you.

Personally, joining the supporters forum wasn't about gaining extra infomation, but rather about giving something back for everything i could learn on the outside forums.
If i had discovered WW in 1998 instead of 1993 i would have been $$ by now.

The primary difference between the supporters forum and the rest of the site is the folks that are struggling with spending $149. They're not in the supporters forum.
