Hi,

I am relatively new to this board and really like it.

I am wondering if some of you have a special way on how you work with this board effectively? Me, I am usually trying to flip through the new posts of the categories I am interested in and ask question every once in a while (and may answer some later, but that'll take a while). It is a little tough in the beginning, since a lot of stuff I don't know much about.

I am just wondering if anyone of you got a more sophistaced or efficient way of learning and exchanging ideas with this board?

Thanks for your opinions,
Benni

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

Great question - and I'll bet you hear different things from different people.

Primarily, I do what you do - go to the forums I'm interested in, read the threads, and reply when I can.

When I want to see what EVERYONE is talking about, I'll take a peek at the active list [webmasterworld.com] - this shows you all of the active discussions and is updated on the fly.

And when I want to see what the difficult questions are, I'll look at the active list but sort by "unanswered messages" (top right-hand corner of the page) and see if there's anything there I can help with.

Pick your three favourite forums, which you will soon find out and browse those. If there's nothing there browse those which you find next most interesting etc.

Occasionaly there's a great discussion in a forum which you may not usually browse. (They're commonly found here [webmasterworld.com] and here [webmasterworld.com])

That's how I browse.
