Time flies - 3 years membership

Time really flies. I just noticed that Iīm a member of WW for more than 3 years. And a long time reader (lurker) before that... (shame).
Well, I thought that on those days, I wouldnīt have anything to contribute with. But my relationship with forums changed a lot since then.

And many things changed in the internet since then too, and I learned many of them here.
My life changed a bit in the last months, and I wonīt even have an internet connection at home for some months, but when I settle in again, I will become a Supporter Member, as a way of thanking, and to become an active member once again.

I'm in just a month before you. Definitely one of the coolest forums. I like it a lot because of it's small footprint. Most other forums have pictures, member url's ( postings just for backlinks), ads all over. They just keep it simple, here.
I wonder how many active members there are.

Yes, itīs a keep it simples philosophy. And it has inspired many other forums.
But the main richess here isnīt the simplicity, but the content :)

Two years for me and I have to say that at age 50 it gave me a new niche career (although I was already in Internet marketing). I am now well on my way to making my second million (having given up trying to make my first) ;)

In all seriousness, it has been the information here, notably in-person friendships made through Pubcons and while travelling, that has opened many new doors. My affiliate marketing is barely 9 months old and it is nearly paying off my monthly mortgage bill but I have a long way to go to approach the levels of some of our WW AM veterans.

I can't say for sure that being a paid-up supporter had anything to do with it, but it must have helped with the networking, which is an important element for getting the full benefit of WW. Mere reading and posting isn't enough.
