Webmasterworld deletes accounts that haven't posted in thirty days, that's fine. However, the problem is that if these accounts, which haven't posted, have received PMS, these pms are kept even after the account is deleted, at least I think so. I had this username a couple months (maybe even a year back). I then had to recreate the account after it was deleted, going through the whole process. After logging in for the first time, I found my old private messages. The problem is that let's suppose an account receives private messages, that are indeed intended to be private, gets deleted, and then someone else comes along and adopts the same username...they would be able to read those private messages. make sense? Maybe i've made a mistake somewhere along the lines but i'm pretty sure I had to recreate the account and was able to read my old pm(s) therein.

Ya, it was a bug that was fixed about six months ago. I don't think there are any residual effects. If there are, it is very rare and specific cases.

only posters that have no posts Leosghost. It is more like a 180 day rule. We always protect those that have more than a handful of posts and those in your league never have to worry.
