Hi everyone,

I resigned from moderating WebmasterWorld a while back for personal reasons.

It has been a very pleasent ride along with the finest team on the greatest board on earth about webmastering.

I will still be around to learn the latest trick and also keep you posted with stupid jokes, and toilet related stuff, promise!

Thanks everyone!

Peace

Vincent

Mac, as one of the poor souls you welcomed to foo, and eventually as a moderator, I very much appreciate your hospitality and warm welcome here.

Thanks for everything you've done.

MG-

You proved everyone needs a little toilet humor in their lives. For that I am grateful.

Thanks for all the effort you've put in to being a moderator -- it's always been noticed and appreciated. :)

You will be held to your promise of stupid jokes and up-to-the-minute toilet news. :)

Macguru, you were a pillar of the WebmasterWorld community, and a moderator who was supremely able to welcome, engage, entertain, inform and delight a huge number of community members - not just as the master of Foo, but also for your guiding presence on the Macintosh Webmaster forum.

Your laconic humour and extremely human approach brough you many fans and immense respect. I'm extremely sorry to see you step down as moderator, but very glad that you have promised to continue as a valued member of this community which you did so much to build.

Merci Vincent pour le travail exceptionnel que tu as fait pour bâtir, nourrir et grandir ce site, pour ton accueil toujours chaleureux et pour ton humanisme débordant. À bientôt mon ami pour encore des blagues de toilettes. ;)

Sorry to see you bidding the "moderator" tag farewell. I'm REALLY happy you'll still be around to trade cooking and presevering ideas with, though!

Best to you....

Mac

To lose you as a mod is a great shame. I hope you will still find the time to peek in at the Mac forum - you have been a huge help.

Glad to hear you will continue to post in FOO - I expect tales of Rocinante, fine foods and a little toilet humor :)

All the best mate.

Macguru/Vincent; so, the decorating has gotten a little out of hand...?

Seriously; sincere best wishes and a heartfelt 'Thank You' for being both a reassurance & a lot of fun during the solitary year that I've so far spent in these forums. What a pleasure!

True characters in life are too rare and far between...

Hey Macguru, you're the man. I'm talking of the big buddy around here; friendly, social and intellectual. Kind and welcoming to all. More of a giver than a taker. The archetype for a bookmarked quality Internet friend. Boy, what a loss to WebmasterWorld.

I too have cut down on my WebmasterWorld time. At least you'll be reading the Foo forum every now and then which is better than nothing. There may be good times ahead, and let's all stay in touch.

The very best to you dude!

Your friend,

Thanks to all for the positive comments. Glad to have such ego boosting material during a life time. Frankly, I never imagined such, even at post mortem. (ç;

Some people even did the effort to adress the message in French. That was heart felt, tabarnak!

Leaving WebmasterWorld as a mod was, and still is, painful for me. I will simply quote lawman here :

I respect you and your principles.

Your friend,

Very wise.

People who can respect others and their principles, are my friends. Maybe I still need some time to match this level of wisdom.

Thanks Mike.

Thanks everyone
