I can't make it to #7, though several of my colleagues will be there in Vegas. I may be able to attend #8. Are there any plans yet concerning pubcon 8?

Think it's like making a movie webwitch, you can't even think about the next one till you finish this one.

Then it's too late ;)
You have to plan at least two movies ahead... so that when you start on one, everything is planned and worked out for the one after that, and you can immediately start working on that movie once you're done with the first.

Its funny you brought this up, I am going to bug Brett about this one.

I've got an offer from my travel agent for 2 long haul and 2 short haul flights. Unfortunately, the tickets are not refundable. So, yes, there is a very valid reason for knowning when and where the next events are.

Staples Center in LA would be a nice option... and since it's next to one of the highest trafficed freeways in the US there would also be a great advertising potential on one of their electronic billboards.

I think Vancouver would be a great place for the next one. Furthermore, there is already a presence among the organizers in the province, so... yeah. It seems like a great place to have the next one. :)

I don't think anyone needs to worry about the next conference... Like I said -- I'm sure Brett has already thought about that one. And the next... And... :)

As long as they sell drinks 24/7 and there's some major airport nearby I'm happy. So why worry, just keep cool and relax, we will all have a good time anyway. :)

A lot of people here work with Indians and a lot of members are Indians as well (including me), though I can't think of a conference in India, but ...... I will let this thought just strike the great minds...you never know :)

It's a long flight though....
