I'm trying to post a job in the "Commercial Exchange" forum but when I click on "post new topic" I just get the basic header and footer info.
Is it just me, are new posts stopping here or is something broken?

From the top of the Commercial Exchange forum...
Want Ads: help wanted and services offered. Premoderated and can take up to a week. Read the charter before posting. Most ads not approved due to charter violations. Only full members may post.

Um, I've paid up - have been a member for 8-9 months now. Yet it appears I'm listed as a junior member?

Being a supporter is not the same as being a full member - the designations junior/full/etc are based on post count.
I would encourage you to sticky Brett and talk with him directly about this issue.

I don't mean to be a pain but.... I noticed a number of other new topics in the Commercial exchange forum have been started by junior members with less than 50 posts.
Also what is the post count required for an upgrade in status?

The requirement for being a full member is recent, which is probably why you're seeing posts from junior members. A full member means about 200 posts, but the exact number can (and does) chage regularly, usually moving upwards.
You really need to take this up with Brett via sticky mail to get an authoritative answer.
