How do you get ranked is it the time you are here the amount of posts and i know one is if they subscribe...

It's usually by amount of posts, and those figures do flucutate slightly like a 1yr CD. :)

Yes, there are several threads on the subject about it, but the exact number of posts for a specific level varies from time to time. I wouldn't worry about it anyway - the titles are fairly meaningless.

There is a way of telling subscribers from non-subscribers, but I believe it's a secret so I won't say what it is. ;)

I believe the guildelines haven't changed much from when we talked about it in this thread [webmasterworld.com].

Occasionally the levels get changed and everyone's rank will shift around a little bit.

No big deal. Remember that there are some people who are "new" here who have a thousand posts, and others who have been around for years and have less than 300 posts.

Post number is not impressive - quality posts and length of time as a contributing member are what truly count.
