A Java Webmasters Category at WW?

A forum for the poor souls doing Java on the web

Today I wanted to post a question regarding JSP but realized that there was no forum to post it in. Would a "Java webmasters" category be too much to ask for? I'm sure there are a lot of Java webmasters that would be willing to contribute (and ask questions).

Cheers

That could be interesting... we do have very specific tools and technologies.

What's your question anyways?

Logical thing to do: change the javascript forum to "Java and Javascript"....

Javascript is actually a world away from Java, they really don't belong in the same forum.

Ahhhh.... while I'm FULLY aware of that salient fact, there may not be too many other options - I sort of think I remember that there's an upper limit on number of fora....

Beggars CANNOT be choosers.

Besides which, only nitpickers worry about the differences; a lot of the people here looking for help A: aren't sure WHAT they need help with (java? javascript? there's a DIFFERENCE? Okay, so what? JUST HELP ME FIX THIS!); and B: would expect to find both in the same forum BECAUSE they aren't programmers.

I'll add it to the list of possible forums.

New forums are added out of need. We generally have a prerequisite of about 50 threads on a subject before it gets it's own forum. If you will look at some forums that have languished, it is because we tried to force the issue and created a forum before it was needed.
