Just doing a Manual link check on google and there was a link from webmasterworld to the domain listed in my profile. Just another reason to list your URL in profile as googlebot can and does index dynamic pages.

It's true, Gbot loves the profile directory. When Brett first set it up, some of the spiders hit so hard it dimmed the lights.

A couple weeks ago I was looking at some of the links from profiles and discovered a couple of adult links. Searching deeper, I found those profile pages in two search engines. It was clear that people had signed up just to generate a profile and submit it to search engines. My full seo red alert alarms went off. So, I've placed NO INDEX tags on the profiles. I didn't wanna, but had to.
