weird layout error

am getting an error with the layout such as here

[webmasterworld.com...]

at the bottom of the page, the left hand column has been shunted into the middle area where the message normally is.

[encyclo]

That usually means someone's forgotten to close a quote tag earlier in the page! I've seen it bofore, so it's a known bug.
