I put a post up a few minutes ago about how affiliates are ruining the internet and I see that it is now missing!

Why would such a post be pulled? Do you disagree?

And if you do disagree why pull it? I think a debate of the issue would be much better than this!

Several forums are premoderated and posts have to be approved before they are visible?

One of the reasons we have a policy against talking about moderation publicly is because there are a lot of forums, a lot of moderators, and it's impossible for any one person to keep track of everything that goes on.

Per TOS #24 ("Discussions about moderator or administrator actions are welcome in email or local private messages, but should not be discussed in public forums. This is out of respect for the members and moderators or policy involved.") please check with the moderator of the forum where you originally put your post. That way, you can get insight from the person who moderated you, rather than public speculation.

Hi Hawkgirl, I'm not following you.

I suppose it in not proper to call people homophobic in todays age -- I am sure you all support diversity. But all the post said was that I'd go out with Larry Page (of Google) if he was gay. I am sure that a lot of women would want to go out with him if he were straight too.

It was in this thread about Larry Page being one of America's 50 hottest bachelors

What I'm saying is, it's better if you bring up the issue with a Foo mod rather than here.
