Ebook with the best WebmasterWorld articles

What do you think of making one just for subscription members?

How about writing an ebook with the best articles, and give it to subscription members :)?

Some of the articles are really classics, and they could be even more. If the ebook has the word WebmasterWorld allover the place, even if some of them slips to non-subscription members, maybe they could bring even more members.

If not an ebook, how about a webpage only accessible to subscription members, with a top selection of articles/threads?

Who makes this selection? Maybe all admins, moderators and users.

What do you think?

I think the user contributing to WebmasterWorld should also benefit from it. That's why I think that frequent members get most of the important information and the people that are not that active might miss some bits. But the libraries and Supporters already contain lots of very good posts imho.

Of course all members that actively participate in WW deserve that. But at least only registered members should download. Unfortunately maybe that would raise the number of members with no posts. Some people could register just to download the ebook. Allowing the download for just members with more than x posts could also bring postcount spam.

I was just thinking of one more thing to make members subscribe/donate to WW. Iīve seen many threads about "why should I subscribe?"

Brett, you could also promote a free donate button. For some people, the fixed recurring subscription cost may be impossible to give. There are many countries where the average monthly wage is $25, and even so there are a lot of webmasters there (eastern europe, for example).
Maybe they could donate $5 just to say thanks to WW (even without any special access), but they canīt afford $89.

In my country (Portugal), things are a bit better, but even so the present times arenīt easy. Maybe an non-recurring subscription would be a solution.

The idea of an Ebook was touted some time ago but the copyright issues involved simply make it an untenable situation.
