Jst had a look a a couple of pages over at the Commercial Exchange forum [webmasterworld.com...]
and it doesnt seem to work almost every single thread has only one post and no replys to it.

That means it's working fine! The commercial exchange forum is a place to post a request and leave contact information. Therefore, if people want to follow up with the original post they need to do it out of the public realm.
That forum's charter [webmasterworld.com] should answer any other questions you have.
