On Hold: This discussion is temporarily on hold

Why do so many of my posts get this message?

There it is again:

status:
On Hold: This discussion is temporarily on hold pending administrative review.
This simply means there was something about the post worth reviewing before public viewing.
It could also mean work is being performed on the thread or forum.

I just posted another simple question re whether or not Yahoo penalizes new sites using free submission if they are sporting Adsense ads, and I get this response.

Will my question ever actually appear?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Lokutus, every new thread started in the Google or the Commercial Exchange Forum is placed on-hold until approved by any of the admins or moderators.

However, threads started in any other forum except those should not do that.

If this happens to you ocassionally, you may want to ask one of the moderators of that forum, or contact an administrator. I'm sure they'll help you out :)

I tried to post this Q in the main Yahoo forum.

Damn, I needed an answer fast too.

The Yahoo forum is now pre-moderated too.
