Hey,

First off, this is in NO way a negative post about WebmasterWorld! (just to clear that up).

Why is WebmasterWorld's PageRank so low? I've seen other forums that are PR 9 and was wondering how in the heck this site is not a PR 8/9 also?

Is it not SEO'd? lol

We have never (not once as far as I can remember) solicited links or exchanged links.

I do not feel a high page rank within Google would help this site.

This forum is not about referrals, it is about community, members, and the education and promotion thereof.

Aside from the se's being used as the side search engine, any referrals we get from search engines - is purely "extra" on top of our real promtoion efforts. I am adamant that forum listings within search engines, are not necc the best for users of said search engines.

We build communities - not page views.

I remember reading a thread where you mentioned you received over 100 000 referrals from google for google ipo...so you sure are getting allot of *extra* from said search engines!

Great work. Your site comes up on the first page for web hosting anyhow so you are high up w/o a PR 8/9.

I found this site through google and joined after it kept delivering the answers I was searching for. I don't go crazy about pagerank, and WW is obviously doing quite well without it.
