Sticky the MOD for that forum, and they will turn it off for you. I believe after the Edit Time you have, it won't allow to turn the notifications off.

Ya, after the "edit post time" has expired, it is up to the mod or admin to adjust it.

If you're getting notifications for an entire forum you can adjust that option in your member control panel.
