Reset last read pointer?

Not that it happens too often, but there are times when I've clicked to navigate up in the forum tree and clicked on "Forum Index", just to realize that's not what I meant to do... and attempt to correct my mistake. But, being on a fast connection, the next page (http://www.webmasterworld.com/home.htm) has already loaded, and I end up clicking on "Reset last read pointer", which is really not what I wanted. On all other pages this link is located on the right side... Would it be possible to move the link over to the right, if nothing else, for the sake of consistency?
