On other forums I frequent this is a big aid in keeping track of what is going on (whose responded to what threads).

While we are begging, it would seem helpful if the topic links could have the last read buttons reset individually instead of by forum. This has probably already been suggested in the past.:)

And the date and time of original message would be helpful sometimes.

All messages show date and time - at least they do on my screen.

Yes, but only the date and time of the last message on the index screen. That's what I thought we were discussing.

I wish we could.

See the thread on Blog/Forum spamming in the supporters forum - nick spamming is one of the easist spams available.

>each thread

The problem is with a million system msgsgs, it would require one pointer per member per thread. Take that times tens of thousands of members, and you are into megs upon gigs of storage just for the pointers.

I sure rained on that parade eh? lol (sorry)

Next? ;-)

Hi Brett,

Well, I have a suggestion that might as well be aired here.

Receiving notification emails is great. One odd thing though is that clicking the link provided always leads to the first page for that thread. (Or am I missing something obvious?)

Anyhow, if conversation is now on page 3, it would be neat if the mail link opened directly to that page.

That would accomodate my laziness and save a tiny bit of bandwidth! :)
