must say each WebmasterWorld event that I have attended is being attended by more and more females.
anyone else notice this.
I for 1 am keen to have an equal split in both attendees and speakers, and I think we are on the right track.

I remember my first Pub Con in London a few years back and the female to male ratio was ridiculously low.
It only adds to the credibility of the industry as a whole that gender doesn't matter, ability does.
Yup. Having taken my girlfriend to the last few, she has said she likes it better too.
Then again, being a girl with a UK accent does make it unlikely that she'll ever have to buy a drink for herself at one of these events, as it seems to do something odd to the American male psyche, which can't hurt...
I'm not sure we'll ever see an even split, because the industry as a whole is male dominated at the moment. When that has corrected, you'll see the conference attendance come into line, I think, but one of the nice things about PubCon is that you will be made welcome regardless of nationality, gender, anything (unless you work for a major SE, when you might feel more under siege than "popular")
