I am wondering how many members have problems coping with the large amounts of information on this site. Clearly, it's impossible to read it all but how do you make sure that you don't miss important threads?

What features of the site do you use and how do you keep track of threads that interest you. How much time to you spend on WW and if you've got some tips on organising reading of WW for maximum efficiency I'd appreciate it.

Guess everyone is having problems and noone is able to get all the important stuff, but there are a couple of tricks.

First, if you are looking for something particular, use your favorite search engine. Bill made a superb search form to include on your pages (msg #9 on this thread [webmasterworld.com].

Then keep the active list (aka recent posts link at the top of your screen) always open.

And then after a while you spot which users tend to make posts you find most useful. So just check their user profiles from time to time, where you will find their latest posts.

Too much compared to the amount of time I have, but not enough in relation to what I could learn here. :)

As sinner_G mentioned above - bills search tool is excellent

- if you wan to keep in touch with certain forums in particular add these to your page via system tools. If you have a lot of links use an Iframe and as a much or as little HTML as you want.

I find a link to 'Mythreads' page is helpful. Flags are excellent for the best threads. Oh, and a "#top" link at the footer comes in handy. I can't think of anything else, apart from just being here and putting in the time :)
